What to expect on a Sunday...
Sunday Worship is informal!
Arrive at 10.15am for a freshly brewed coffee or tea. The service starts at 10.30 and normally lasts for an hour, or maybe a little longer. We have a very varied approach, so content will change from week to week, but what we aim to have is an informal contemporary worship time which includes; modern songs, talks, prayer time, activities for kids and youth … and sometimes discussions, dramas and quizzes, but always at the heart of it will be God's word.
And don't worry if it's your first time visiting us, there is a welcome team on hand to make sure you feel at home. Click on "New to Church" below to find out more.
Apart from the major Christian festivals, such as Christmas and Easter, we generally follow a pattern of services throughout the month, all slightly different. Once a month we have communion, which you are welcome to join in if you normally receive communion elsewhere, or simply receive a blessing.
After the service the cafe re-opens… and the conversation continues... And, on certain days we fuel the conversation with cakes!
In any event we look forward to seeing you on a Sunday morning, whether you are seeking, exploring, growing or already well established on your Christian journey, we would love to meet you.
Occasionally we also hold special services...
Worship 60 is a modern song based service run from time to time that is normally held on an Sunday evening. A chance to air the lungs and lose yourself in your favourite modern worship songs.
We also hold individual services of commemoration, particular around Christmas, Easter, Remembrance Sunday and other key times, again normally in the evening, and generally on a Sunday.
Details of each service will be posted in News & Events.
