...will you join in with our...
In the run up to Christmas... Here's what you need to do...
Adults: Take a photo through Advent which matches the weekly themes below, pause and reflect on that... then post it on the New Way Facebook page with the relevant word of the week. For example, in week three - "My Advent Photo representing Love".
If you want to add a relevant bible verse or comment with your post about what it means to you, even better! Please ensure privacy is maintained, so no pictures of people or home interiors etc.
To post your submission go to the New Way Facebook page by clicking here. Once you're there click on "create post", add your words and photo, and simply click "post".
Children: make a bauble, dove, heart and/or angel depending on the relevant week in the list below.
We would really love to see your own unique creative ideas. Why not make a string of doves, baubles, hearts and angels across a window, or hang them in a visible place in your home... but if you need a bit of inspiration to get you started, check out our templates and links below.
Next, please ask a parent to photograph what you have made and upload our Facebook page, as above.
It would be great if you could do this at least once during Advent, but if you can manage a weekly photo, even better! Here are the themes and dates on which to upload.
Sunday 29th November to Saturday 5th December
Sunday 6th December to Saturday 12th December
Sunday 13th December to Saturday 19th December
Sunday 20th December to Thursday 24th December

Don't worry if you don’t have a Facebook account and would like to join us, adults, please email your photo and comment or your child’s picture to us, just click here. Photos will be downloaded on the Monday of each date period, so please make sure they arrive in time.
Disclaimer: by uploading your photo to Facebook and tagging New Way Bearsted or submitting your photo by email, you are giving us permission to display it on the New Way website, New Way Facebook page, Holy Cross Church and Bearsted Parish noticeboards.
We really look forward to seeing your shared photos and creations, some of which will be collated and displayed on notice boards (as above) during this hopeful season of Advent.
